Consignment Horse Services
Black Bay Equestrian can help you sell you hunter, jumper or equitation horse. We offer consignment services that include advertising, boarding, and training of your horse during the sale process. Additionally, Black Bay Equestrian maintains regular contact with a network of hunter/jumper and dressage trainers who may be seeking horses for their clients.
How Consignment Works
Horses in our consignment program must be boarded at out facility and in partial training or full training, plus a 10% commission once your horse is sold based on sale price. Our consignment horse program includes:
- Photo and video listing of your horse on our Sale Horse page.
- Unlimited showings of your horse by appointment.
- Specific services listed below in full or partial training.
Full Training - $425/mo
- 5 days per week schooling rides
- Horse show prep (show clipping, mane pulling)
- Medication when needed (client supplied)
- 3rd feeding of client supplied pellets, etc.
- Minimum 3 days of turnout
- Blanketing - 7 days
- Sale horse prep
- 3 days per week of schooling rides
- Blanketing 3 days per week
- Turnout 2 days per week
- 3rd feeding of client supplied pellets, etc.
- 7 day blanketing and additional turnout available - $10 per week
